This weekend was AnimeUSA, one of the annual anime conventions in the DC area. Working on staff for a convention is a whole new experience from being just an attendee. There was a lot of work to do, but also a lot of fun times with the other staffers. Our work spanned Thursday to Sunday, as we started before attendees came and stayed long after they were all gone. It was a great experience: setting things up, pulling all-nighters, goofing around in the hotel rooms, wandering secret employee-only hallways, tearing things down, and most of all - just having fun with each other.
